Itinerary

You will arrive at Cochin airport, where you will be met and transferred Munnar. Munnar, a picturesque hill station, known for its tea plantation which adorns most of the area with its greenish-carpet like leaves, and also the winding roads through the hills, misty mountains and clean refreshing atmosphere. The name Munnar is derived three rivers – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kudala that confluence in Munnar town. Upon arrival at Munnar, Check in at hotel. Overnight at Hotel or Resort.

After breakfast proceed to explore Munnar, which includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo point. You will also visit the Eravikulam National park, located on a elevated mountainous plateau with spectacular views, were the rarest species of mountain goat, ‘Nilgiri Thars’, can be spotted. Later visit, Tea Museum which has been built in the Nallathanni estate of Tata Tea. Its collection of souvenirs and artifacts will remind you of the era when the tea industry had just started to make its presence felt in Munnar in 1880s. Glance the museum for its array of curios, pictures and machineries, each portraying significant events that contributed to a thriving tea industry. Munnar is a complete hill station covered in greenery, under misty scent of tealeaves all around, with clean fresh air and the with pleasing cool weather all the year round.
